Huis Ten Bosch is a Dutch-inspired theme park in Nagasaki. It is a huge park where the buildings and surroundings would make you feel you are in Europe, but in fact you are in the island of Kyushu, Japan. Here is the location:\u00a0<\/span>1-1 Huis Ten Bosch Machi, Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture 859-3292<\/p>\n

You can do so many fun things in this park,<\/span>\u00a0but here I will talk primarily about the theme park<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s Rose Festival\u00a0<\/span>occurring<\/span>\u00a0in spring<\/span>(around May to June).<\/span><\/p>\n

O<\/span>ne of the grandest flower celebrations in\u00a0<\/span>Huis Ten Bosch in<\/span>\u00a0Nagasaki<\/span>\u00a0is<\/span>\u00a0the Rose Festival.\u00a0<\/span>By the name itself, rose fanatics will certainly go crazy about it. The park boast<\/span>s\u00a0<\/span>of its<\/span>\u00a0one thousand varieties\u00a0<\/span>of rose which blooms in full during this event.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>here you will see that r<\/span>oses\u00a0<\/span>are not just red. There\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0<\/span>so many different shades of colors.\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>here are shades of r<\/span>ed, pink,\u00a0<\/span>purple<\/span>, yellow,\u00a0<\/span>orange.\u00a0<\/span>A<\/span>\u00a0blast of colors everywhere.<\/span>\u00a0Also you will see roses in different sizes and forms.\u00a0<\/span>Big, small, tiny.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>here are even single-<\/span>petalled<\/span>\u00a0roses.<\/span>The kinds or roses that you may have never seen before.<\/span>\u00a0It<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s absolutely amazing!<\/span><\/p>\n

My Experience\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can still remember even now how unexplainable the feeling was when I first experienced it four years ago.\u00a0It\u00a0was like heaven on earth.\u00a0I was surrounded with roses. Everywhere I turned, there were roses.\u00a0I\u00a0smelled\u00a0the air,\u00a0smiled and said\u00a0\u2018cheese\u2019\u00a0to my camera.\u00a0And\u00a0almost\u00a0everyone who was there was doing the same.\u00a0The sweet smell of the air was so\u00a0amazingly\u00a0pleasant. It was like I was in a fragrance commercial tipping\u00a0my\u00a0head back smelling the air. \u00a0It was\u00a0ecstasy!\u00a0That\u00a0spot where\u00a0roses of all colors and all sizes\u00a0bloom\u00a0is more than a\u00a0\u2018bed\u2019\u00a0of roses.\u00a0It was a\u00a0\u2018world\u2019\u00a0of roses.\u00a0 \"\"<\/p>\n
