I stayed for a month with my sister and in that short period of time, I fell in love with Japan.\u00a0I came back as a scholar on\u00a0September\u00a024, 2012, and studied for a year and a half.\u00a0During my stay, I\u2019m so enchanted with\u00a0Japan that\u00a0I\u00a0wanted\u00a0to stay\u00a0in this country\u00a0for good.\u00a0So, I\u2019m here, staying for almost four years now.\u00a0I have my reasons why I\u00a0chose to stay in\u00a0Japan, and I think many can relate with me.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_598\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-598\" style=\"width: 960px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/df1341b5-b7a9-4a92-86d8-f300e862e998-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-598\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/df1341b5-b7a9-4a92-86d8-f300e862e998-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-598\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">my university<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><b>5. What I (financially) earn here\u00a0(with lesser effort and work)\u00a0is\u00a0almost\u00a0four times as much\u00a0as I earn\u00a0in my country.\u00a0Although the cost of living is far different (it is so much cheaper in my homeland; Japan is expensive), with my earnings, I can provide myself more than\u00a0enough, send money to my family back home and enjoy life without thinking so much of financial constraints.<\/p>\n<p><b>4.\u00a0Environmental\u00a0Safety\u00a0and Security.<\/b><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_600\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-600\" style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/821a2039-d01b-4c83-8a66-5efa326d98d7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-600\" title=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/821a2039-d01b-4c83-8a66-5efa326d98d7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/821a2039-d01b-4c83-8a66-5efa326d98d7.jpg 550w, https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/821a2039-d01b-4c83-8a66-5efa326d98d7-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-600\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">welcomia.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When I came here for the first time, I was surprised to see that there were no security guards in establishments (which is common in my country)\u00a0and the policemen don\u2019t have guns.\u00a0There seems to be NO threat to security.\u00a0The crime rate in Japan is relatively low. No pollution. The environment is clean, safe and secured.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>3. They are very harmonious and\u00a0very\u00a0disciplined.\u00a0They follow rules and always think of others.\u00a0You can see that when they get on the train, when they take escalators, when they go to the restaurant,\u00a0they always fall in line and wait for their turn. Here, there seem to be no rich and poor. No\u00a0\u201cuntouchables\u201d.\u00a0Here, a politician is just a worker, like everybody else.\u00a0Everyone\u2019s equal.\u00a0Japanese give importance to uniformity, too. \u00a0You can see that in the way they dress.\u00a0Very few, almost nobody\u00a0wants to stand out with bright-colored, printed dress.\u00a0Subtle colors are prevalent.\u00a0Everything is just smooth and neutral.<br \/>\n<b><br \/>\n2. Advance Technology<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/f43fc574-0555-4535-bfa1-27a029a58ca7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-604\" src=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/f43fc574-0555-4535-bfa1-27a029a58ca7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3008\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/a><b>http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/10003fe2-304a-4660-b2c6-83a3c4b39e02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-605\" src=\"https:\/\/maryanila.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/10003fe2-304a-4660-b2c6-83a3c4b39e02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2065\" \/><\/a>japantimes.com.jp<\/p>\n<p>Undoubtedly, Japan is so far,\u00a0very\u00a0advanced\u00a0in terms of technology.\u00a0I can easily travel\u00a0anywhere\u00a0using its\u00a0hi-tech transportation system: the\u00a0bullet train,\u00a0the efficient and always on time local trains,\u00a0subways, and buses.\u00a0The world is just a touch away using my smartphone with\u00a0a very\u00a0fast\u00a0and reliable\u00a0internet connection\u00a0and free\u00a0Wi-Fi\u00a0in big cities.\u00a0There are hi-tech\u00a0toilets, vending machines, automatic doors,\u00a0and\u00a0(some places in Tokyo)\u00a0robotic receptionist\u00a0which makes Japan a really awesome and\u00a0very convenient\u00a0place\u00a0to\u00a0live.<\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\n1.
