MARYANILA LAPLANA SASIL – MORGAN
A Filipina teacher and mom raising a multilingual daughter, currently living in Japan, who loves gardening, reading, and writing as well.
She can speak four languages fluently: English, Japanese, Tagalog and Bisaya.
She taught in the Philippines from 2002 up until 2012 before she moved to Japan for a scholarship grant from the Japanese government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
After the scholarship, she worked as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Fukuoka for many years. She is currently directly employed as an English Teacher by their city’s Board of Education.
